2019 AIFC SUMMER SOCCER CAMPS

DAY CAMPS run 9:00 - 4:30 pm daily and include catered lunches

 

OVERNIGHT CAMPS run from Monday at 9:00 am to Friday at 4:30 pm and include 3 catered meals daily. Athletes are housed in the Athlete Institute Residence (click here to view)

Our AIFC Pump Up Camp promises to be an enjoyable and interactive week for all athletes. Alongside AIFC Staff players will be put through a broad range of training sessions, activities and events that will engage as well as develop each athlete.

 

Get better the AIFC way, while we have fun in the sun!

Our AIFC Elite Camp will be an intense, informative and progressive week for athletes looking for high end insight into taking their game to the next level. Professional Coaches will join AIFC in running sessions, and players will be put through the most relevant and impactful development practices the game has to offer.  Athlete assessment and individual feedback will be provided to players. 

 

A unique trait of this camp will be the ability for players to immerse themselves fully in the residency experience at AIFC, players will have the option to attend this camp in an overnight format, adding to a top level week of development.

 

Our professional coaching lineup will be announced very soon, do not miss out on what promises to be one of the top camps in Ontario this summer season.

Monday  | Dribbling, 1v1 attacking, & penetrating the opposition

Tuesday  | Defending and defensive foundations (team and individual), shooting & finishing

Wednesday  | Passing, connecting & understanding passing relationships

Thursday  | Being pro-active over re-active, trainsitioning in attack and defense

Friday  | attacking, defending in the final third, World Cup Competition, individual athlete recognition

ELITE CAMP DAILY THEMES

Monday  | Phases of play, creating attacking overloads, & penetrating the final third

Tuesday  | Creating a training/competitive identity, defending and defensive foundations (team and individual), shooting & finishing

Wednesday  | Passing and developing a passing range, connecting and understanding passing relationships, & inter-camp match for coaches assessment

Thursday  | Making an impact in transition, recognition and important cues in high-level football, & competing to win

Friday  | Attacking and defending in the final third, inter-camp match for coaches assessment, staff feedback & future targets for individual athletes

Christos played soccer with numerous Academies and Provincial teams across Canada. He also played in Europe for the Panathinaikos Youth Academy.

 

Christos has been coaching youth players for over 8 years with various age groups and multiple teams. He holds his National C license and holds an Ontario Soccer Goalkeeper Diploma.

Juan began coaching in 2007 as Head Coch of CD Campillos U13 in Malagos, Spain and has held numerous assistant and head coaching jobs throughout the last 12 years. 

Juan is a UEFA Pro Football Coach from Campillos, Malaga, Spain and is currently the Assistant Coach for the San Roque Senior Team in Spain.

Manny has represented both Ontario and Canada at Youth Provincial and National levels, he has won a national championship at the U-Sports level at Wilfrid Laurier University. He continued his soccer career by taking it to professional stage in his native Peru with Sporting Cristal. 

Manny has worked with various soccer clubs in the GTA including Technical Director at Atletico Toronto. Many of Manny's athletes have gone on to play in the NCAA, U-Sports, MLS and overseas with professional contracts.

Amrik grew up playing rep soccer in the GTA before moving to England and playing semi-professional football in Essex and Kent. Amrik then returned to Canada and played soccer at the University of Western Ontario.

Amrik holds his Scottish FA C license and is on his way to obtaining his EUFA B in Scotland. Amrik has spent years working with the community at OKD Soccer Club and freelancing for teams in the GTA. He is currently the head goalkeeper coach for the women's team at Sheridan College in Oakville.

David Began coaching soccer in 2005 as an Assistant Coach with CD Brextí. Throughout his career, Torreblanca C.F., Teachnical Director of of Arsenal Soccer Schools in India, Individual Technique Specialist Coach with Timca Football Academy and much more. 

David most recently finished his work with the U18 Nigerian Team's European Tour and has over 15 years of playing experience and 14 years of coaching experience.
